Data protection

To comply with our duties we partly use external service providers. These are our member companies and other organizations.

Personal data (address data, e-mail addresses) are only collected and processed in order to fullfill our obligations or to respond to specific enquiries. In order to send documents, it might sometimes be necessary to provide your address data to companies that assist us with our mailings. Beyond this, we will not disclose your personal data, except if we are legitimately required to do so by an authority (e.g. in the case of criminal prosecution or to avert danger). After your request has been fully processed, your data will be stored and deleted after expiry of the storage periods stipulated by tax and commercial law.

This website works with cookies. These are small files or short texts that are transferred from the web server to the user’s browser and are stored temporarily or permanently; they do not contain viruses and do not cause any damage to the computer. The cookies are partly for security purposes or are necessary for the presentation of the website. Through browser settings, you have the possibility to make settings yourself regarding the setting of cookies or to delete cookies. We mainly use session cookies. Session cookies are necessary in order to be able to view the website as you are currently viewing it. These cookies are temporarily stored and automatically deleted immediately after your visit to the site. They are therefore only set by the server for the duration of a session. Preference cookies collect information on your settings and allow you to call up language or other local settings and to adjust the page accordingly. We mainly use language cookies. Language cookies are used to store and display the language settings made by the user.

If you have further questions on the subject of data protection, please contact the data protection officer of Deutsches Büro Grüne Karte e. V., Mr. Frank Petzchen by e-mail.
